Our recent ferry flight of a brand-new Citation XLS Gen 2 from Cessna’s Wichita, Kansas facility to the United Kingdom was no exception. This journey, meticulously planned and executed, spanned continents, weather patterns, and time zones, all with the aim of delivering an aircraft that arrived factory-fresh and ready to perform.

After leaving Wichita, the aircraft made stops in Iqaluit, Canada, and Reykjavik, Iceland. These stops were chosen to allow for refueling and checks, making sure the aircraft was in top condition for each stage of the journey across the Atlantic. These key stops also allowed the crew to handle any weather or fuel needs along the way.

Every detail was managed to maintain the Citation XLS Gen 2’s factory-fresh condition, from handling procedures to in-flight care, so the aircraft would arrive in showroom condition. The Citation XLS Gen 2 combines range, speed, and an exceptional cabin experience, and we’re proud to have delivered this new-generation aircraft directly to our client, bridging Wichita’s innovation with the UK’s skies.
